A Sad Event

This weekend a sad event occured here in Seattle. Our beloved baby elephant Hansa passed away. She was 6 years old and I had been visiting her since she was born. Emily loved looking for the baby elephant any time we visited the zoo. We went to the zoo on Sunday to say goodbye to little Hansa and found this memorial by the elephant barn. Emily solemnly viewed the big elephants and deduced that they were feeling very sad. As were we all.
